MSCO: Man charged with intoxicated driving in crash that killed Irondequoit woman

CLARKSON, N.Y. – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a man for intoxicated driving in a crash that killed an Irondequoit woman, 24-year-old Sierra Gaddy, on Saturday.

Gaddy was driving on West Ridge Road in the Town of Clarkson when her SUV tried to pass a car. According to deputies, that’s when her SUV crashed into a pickup truck Adam Foss, 43 of Holley, was driving as he was intoxicated.

Deputies say Gaddy’s SUV landed on its side and she died at the scene. Foss was taken to Strong Hospital to treat minor injuries.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office reports that West Ridge Road, between Drake Road and Redman Road, in the Town of Clarkson is currently closed while MCSO investigates a multi-vehicle moving vehicle accident. One person has passed away at the scene. The road will remain closed while they investigate the cause of the accident.
