Man indicted on manslaughter charges in deadly W Main stabbing

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man charged with a deadly stabbing was indicted in court Thursday.

Eddie Welch, 61, is charged with first-degree manslaughter.

Police say he stabbed Richie Marcano, 36, on West Main Street in Rochester back on Sept. 27.

Marcano later died.

It’s believed the two knew each other.
