Deputies: Woman killed, man seriously injured in Wayne County motorcycle crash

ARCADIA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Lyons woman is dead and a Lyons man is injured after a motorcycle crash in Arcadia, Wayne County on Monday.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said it happened at around 3:50 p.m. on Sutton Road.
Deputies say Albert Webber, 66, was riding a motorcycle with Edith Webber, 57, as his passenger. They were headed east on Sutton Road when Albert attempted to avoid a Newark man while he was backing a trailer into his driveway.
Albert was cresting a blind hill and was trying to stop when he lost control of the motorcycle, laying it down on its side and hitting a rock embankment on the side of the road before coming to a stop.
Edith was pronounced dead at the scene.
Albert was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital with severe injuries. As of Tuesday night, he was under evaluation after undergoing surgery.
The Newark man was not injured.
Deputies are still investigating the cause of the crash.
