ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the leading cause of death for men, women, and people of most racial and ethnic groups in the United States.

In this Health & Wellness special, we’re exploring ways to do that through diet, early detection and breakthrough technologies. You’ll also hear from a local man who ignored his health concerns for many years until it was nearly too late. Now he’s on the road to recovery after having heart surgery.
