Teen stabbed in Newark expected to recover

NEWARK, N.Y. – A 17-year-old boy was stabbed Sunday night near a park in Newark.
Newark Police say it happened around 9 p.m. near Hallagan Park on Hoffman Street.
Police say the suspect stabbed the teen in the back. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
