Josh Allen makes more history in week 3 win

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC) — The fourth-year quarterback sent fans home happy, tossing four touchdowns and more than 300 yards for the fifth time in his career.

It’s the most in Bills history and it makes Josh Allen one of just four quarterbacks to do it in four seasons.

Patrick Mahomes is the only other active one. He also ran in his 26th touchdown of his career, now the most out of any Bills quarterback ever.

Sean McDermott was impressed from the start.

"I thought he got off to a good start. The third-down competition to Gab over the middle was a laser and then just from there he just got into a really good rhythm. I like how Josh took what the defense was giving him at times, and other times, he created it on his own. I think there was a good balance," McDermott said.

It’s quite the contrast from the first two weeks for Josh, helping the bills to their eighth win in the last ten games against an NFC. Buffalo hasn’t lost in nine games when Allen has thrown for 300 yards or more.
