Crews battle house fire on Malvern Street in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester firefighters battled a house fire early Monday morning on Malvern Street in the city.

The fire reportedly started on the first floor and then spread to the second floor. Crews say the house was empty at the time of the fire but the owner did later show up while the fire was happening. The cause is under investigation.
