NEW YORK, N.Y. (WHEC) — A memorial for Gabby Petito on Long Island continues to grow.

Hours before a candlelight vigil Friday night, a steady stream of people stopped by the makeshift memorial, bringing flowers and other gifts. Teal balloons and ribbons lined the fences. Organizers say that was the color of gabby’s eyes.

Nearby, preparations are underway at the Moloney Funeral Home where services will be held on Sunday. The services are open to the public and will run from noon to 5 p.m.

Gabby Petito, 22, remains were found in Grand Teton National Park last weekend.

Earlier this week a Wyoming County Coroner determined Petito was the victim of a homicide. Officials have not yet answered exactly how she died.

Police are still searching for her fiance Brian Laundrie. He’s been missing for more than a week. There’s a warrant out for his arrest for his activities after Petito’s death.
