Seneca Park Zoo red panda cubs growing, will be outside ‘soon’

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— They grow up so fast!

The two new red panda cubs at Seneca Park Zoo are almost ready to head outside. An update from County Executive Adam Bello Tuesday said the cubs, now both 11 weeks old, got their first physicals and vaccines.

At just over two pounds, Bello said the cubs are beginning to explore and will be outside "soon."

Their birthing was the first red panda birthing in the zoo’s 128-year history.
