RPD: Body recovered from the Genesee River, near Veteran’s Memorial Bridge

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester Police Department confirmed that on Satruday, around 3 p.m., someone called 911 to report a possible body in the Genesee River. The Rochester Fire Department, and the Rochester Police Scuba Team, recovered a body from the river, near the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge.

The Medical Examiner’s Office also responded. The investigation is ongoing, and we will update the story as we learn more.
