Rochester man shot while mowing the lawn on Garson Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A city man was shot while mowing the lawn at a home on Rochester’s Garson Avenue.
Police say it happened shortly before 7:00 p.m. Sunday. The victim, 30, suffered at least one gunshot wound to his lower body while working outside the location in the 500-block of Garson Avenue.
His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. He’s being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital.
No one is in custody yet for this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
