Brighton Police release name of motorcyclist who died in crash on East River Road

BRIGHTON, N.Y. — Brighton Police say a motorcyclist died after he didn’t brake at a stop light and struck a vehicle on East River Road on Monday night.
Police identified the motorcyclist as 24-year-old Dustin Rich of Batavia. The four people inside the other vehicle were taken to Strong Hospital with minor injuries.
Brighton Police responded to the crash, at the intersection of East River Road and the Route 390 off-ramp, around 9:30 p.m. They’re continuing to investigate and no charges have been filed.
The Henrietta Fire Department, the Brighton Volunteer Ambulance, the CHS Mobile Integrated Healthcare Ambulance, and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash.
