Judge William K.Taylor replaces Doran as administrative judge for seventh judicial district

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Judge William K. Taylor has been named as administrative judge for the seventh judicial district, which consists of Cayuga, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, and Yates counties.

Judge Taylor is replacing Judge Craig Doran after a 1988 Halloween photo resurfaced of him dressed up as a well-known public figure of color.

In July, Doran stepped down as the administrative judge. However, he will stay on the bench as an elected judge.
