Police locate, arrest Rochester man in connection to March shooting

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)—Rochester Police say a city man is now facing several charges in connection to a shooting in March.

Police Wednesday announced the Tuesday arrest of 18-year-old Christian Murrell. He’s accused of shooting another man in the upper body on Bay Street back on March 20.

The man survived and was released from the hospital.

RPD says it worked with the United States Marshals Task Force to find and arrest Murrell. He was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment.

He was booked into the Monroe County Jail
