Man indicted in murder of mother of children

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— A man has been indicted on a murder charge in connection to the death of the mother of his children earlier this month.
A Monroe County Jury decided to indict 26-year-old Ahmed Ali on second-degree murder.
Ali is accused of killing 23-year-old Arbay Chivala in her apartment on Argo Park back on Aug.1. All four of Chivala’s children were also in the apartment, all of them are under four years old.
Police say Ali called 911 and told investigators he originally went to the apartment to pick up one of his children and found Chivala’s body. A further investigation found enough evidence to charge Ali.
