Rochester teen arrested in connection to May double shooting

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police say a teen is facing charges in connection to a double shooting in May.

Police charged the teen with second-degree assault and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was already wanted on robbery and grand larceny charges.

The arrest is in connection to the shooting of a 15-year-old and 19-year-old on North Goodman Street on May 13. Both had life-threatening injuries but survived.

The U.S. Marshall’s Task Force and RPD officers pulled over the teen, and another man, 32-year-old Antoine Williams, on July 31st, and say they recovered a loaded handgun. Williams was also charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The 17-year-old was placed in secure detention. Williams was booked into the Monroe County Jail.
