Lane closures expected on I-390 in Greece next week

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Lane closures are expected to begin next week on I-390 in the Town of Greece.

The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) said starting the week of July 19, the north and southbound bridges carrying I-390 over Round Pond Creek in Greece will be closed for concrete deck repairs and slab reconstruction.

The DOT says work on both bridges will happen at the same time.

Drivers should expect single-lane closures and changing traffic patterns on I-390 between Latta Road and the Lake Ontario State Parkway for about eight weeks, according to the DOT.

The DOT said short-term closures will also be necessary on the northbound on-ramp from Latta Road and the Route 390 Pedestrian Trail. Detours will be posted.

The DOT said the work is weather-dependent.
