Police identify man killed on Karnes Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police have identified the man shot and killed on the city’s northwest side Wednesday morning.
Police say 34-year-old Kelvin Harris Jr was found with a gunshot wound outside a home on Karnes Street near Willow Street just before 1 a.m.
AMR attempted life-saving measures, but Harris died at the scene.

The killing marks the 39th homicide in the City of Rochester in 2021. News10NBC Lynette Adams reports many family members were emotional as they showed up to the scene early Wednesday, they told Adams they’re hoping to get an update soon.
RPD said no arrests have been made.
