ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — News10NBC and ESL Federal Credit Union are proud to partner in recognizing amazing individuals who go above and beyond in our hometowns.
You don’t need a degree, and you don’t need to hold a specialized certification. When it comes to volunteering, passion and positivity are the only requirements.
Volunteering not only provides us with the opportunity to get involved with the cause that we’re passionate about but also provides the chance to look beyond our own circumstances and appreciate what others are experiencing. The difference that you’ll make in someone else’s life could make an even bigger difference in yours.
The ESL Jefferson Awards shine a light on the local faces who never seek recognition but richly deserve it. Those who empower others to do more and inspire all to take action.
Additionally, we’re honoring 10 ESL Centennial Award winners. The ESL Centennial Awards were established as part of ESL’s 100th anniversary celebration as a way to recognize more good work being done in our community.
