CHILI N.Y. (WHEC) — A vigil at Davis Park in Chili will honor the memory of Brittanee Drexel on National Missing Children’s Day, which is on Wednesday.
The vigil is from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and it will take place at the Memorial Tree, near the tennis courts on Paul Road. The town of Chili is asking participants to bring a candle.
National Missing Children’s Day has been held since 1983 to show support for the family and friends of missing children.
A convicted sex offender was recently charged with killing Drexel and confessed to the murder.
