ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester police swarmed a car in Brighton Monday night, a vehicle they say had been stolen at gunpoint.
Rochester police say the car was stolen on Upper Falls Boulevard and hit a marked patrol car while taking off. That led to a chase that ended on Brighton Henrietta Town Line Road when the car struck a curb.
An 18-year-old man along with two 15-year-olds, a girl and a boy, were taken into custody. Two of them were treated for minor injuries but no one else was hurt.
All three people were charged with criminal possession of stolen property. The 15-year-olds were taken to the Monroe County Children’s Center.
