Brittanee Drexel’s mother comforted missing boy’s family

A local mother is all too familiar with the pain the Rowe family is feeling offered her support.

Dawn Pleckan, whose daughter, Brittanee Drexel, went missing during spring break in 2009, came to the a vigil to remember Trevyan Row on Monday night to support Trevyan’s mother.

Trevyan went missing after arriving at Rochester School #12 on Thursday. His body was found Sunday in the Genesee River.

“As a mom and as the mother of a missing child, we wanted to be there for her and giver her comfort that we know what she’s going through,” Pleckan said.

Drexel went missing on spring break in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2009. Drexel remains missing today.
