Cedric Alexander on RPD, Rochester’s future amid protests and change

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester’s chief of police and all six members of his command staff are stepping down. With them goes decades of experience.

While protesters call for change, city leaders now have the task of making that happen.

So News10NBC interviewed Cedric Alexander, who helped lead the city and also served as our city’s chief of police.

Alexander also served as deputy mayor, has a Ph.D. in psychology and served on President Obama’s task force for 21st century policing.
