Man barricades himself in Genesee County apartment after police chase

BATAVIA, N.Y. – There was a state police chase on Sunday that started in Byron and ended in Batavia, where spike strips were used. The suspect ran from the car into an apartment at Northside Meadows, where he barricaded himself inside. He was taken into custody.
