Man, 43, recovering after shooting on Campbell Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man, 43, is recovering after a shooting on Rochester’s west side on Wednesday morning.
Rochester Police got reports of shots fired and found the injured man around 1 a.m. at Campbell Street near Colvin Street. An ambulance rushed him to Strong Hospital to treat his lower-body gunshot wound and he is expected to survive.
RPD has no suspects in custody and is asking anyone with information to call 911.
