Police are investigating overnight shootings

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened overnight in Rochester early Saturday morning.

The first incident occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. Police say that upon arrival they found a male victim shot and laying in the front yard adjacent to 121 Selye Terrace. He was transported to Strong Hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The second incident happened at roughly the same time in the area of 344 Clifford Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a 34-year-old male in the driveway with a gunshot wound to his lower extremity. He was transported to Strong Hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The two shootings are separate incidents. They are both currently being investigated and anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
