ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police and the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Salahuddin Floyd Jr., also known in Rochester as "OG Poohbear” in Rochester Friday night.

U.S. Marshal Charles Salina said Floyd Jr. was arrested in the area of Dewey Ave and Winchester Street without incident.

Floyd Jr. is the main suspect in the murder of 17-year-old Bryson Simpson that occurred on Otis Street back in March.

In April, U.S. Marshal Charles Salina said they believe the two knew each other from Edison Tech.

Simpson attended Edison Tech in the city and police say three friends who walked from their bus with him were shot at too, but escaped unharmed.

Simpson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The USMS task force is represented by members of the US Marshals, Rochester Police Department, Monroe County Sheriffs, New York State Troopers, and New York Parole Officers.
