ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The annual Labor Day parade marched down East Avenue featuring members of local unions and community groups.
The parade on Monday morning started on East Avenue between Alexander Street and North Union Street, then marched toward Main Street. The parade and the federal holiday honors the contributions of American workers.
Some union at the parade included the Rochester Union of Nurses and Allied Professionals, Iron Workers Union Local 33, and Sheet Metal Workers’ Local Union 46. Here are photos and a video of the parade:
