LIVONIA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Conesus man was arrested on Thursday and is facing felony charges following a motorcycle crash in Livonia.

23-year-old Joshua Stitt is accused of speeding on his motorcycle, not pulling over for police, and eventually crashing—all while drunk.

Stitt and his passenger were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The incident happened back on June 26, on West Lake Road in Livonia.

Deputies say Stitts’ blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit.

Stitt has been charged with reckless endangerment in the first degree, felony assault in the second degree, felony aggravated vehicular assault, aggravated DWI and several violations of the vehicle and traffic law. The assault charges were due to the serious injuries to his passenger on the motorcycle.
