ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Temperatures following our cold front have dropped into the 70s for highs, and we’ll fall into the 50s overnight.

If you haven’t already turned off the air conditioning, go ahead and give it a break, and open up the windows to get some fresh air! Tuesday should be a beautiful day with highs near 80, comfortable humidity levels, and a mix of clouds and sun.

A warm front lifting through on Wednesday will tend to increase our cloud cover a little bit later in the day and bump up our humidity just a little. Temperatures also climb into the mid-80s. Outside of a stray shower late, Wednesday should be dry.

That’ll start to change by Thursday and Friday with the approach of our next cold front. This will bring some showers, maybe a few storms on Thursday, then clearing after morning showers on Friday.

If you have big plans this weekend, the weather won’t be a factor. We’ll look at a gorgeous weekend with highs in the lower half of the 80s, dry weather and plenty of sunshine.
