Car crashes into building on Lake Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say a car was speeding on Lake Avenue and crashed into a commercial building at the intersection with Ravine Avenue on Wednesday morning.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. and damaged the front of the building, leaving glass on the ground. Officers say the driver fled the scene before they arrived.
There were no reports of injuries, and RPD hasn’t yet found the driver.
