Hall of Justice holds first ever career fair

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Monroe County Hall of Justice held its first ever career fair on Wednesday.
It aimed at raising awareness about college programs, job training opportunities, and job openings in the Rochester area. Organizers say it was the perfect venue for a positive, community-building event.
“There’s people here who need our support and our help to we came here to meet with them. To offer them oppurinities that can take them to where they are to where they want to be,” said Shawn Futch, coordinator of Rochester Workforce Development.
It was sponsored by the City of Rochester, Action for a Better Community, and other groups. Employers and colleges will be stationed at tables on the first floor of the courthouse.
