New place to eat at Seneca Park Zoo

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – The Seneca Park Zoo has a new place to refresh and grab something to eat.

The Trailside Cafe opened Monday. It is an indoor dining location with an expanded menu that features locally grown food. The cafe will also serve as a catering hub for the zoo and gives the zoo the ability to host private catered events.

Trailside Cafe includes an assortment of grab and go food along with a large menu of other items including soft serve ice cream and a large seating area.

The cafe is the latest addition to the zoo’s ongoing transformation. Next up according to Monroe County, is a reimagined front entrance and new Conservation Resoruce Center, and a 1.5 million cubic-foot Tropics Complex.
