City of Rochester, RFD conducting an investigation after allegations of employee misconduct

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The city of Rochester and Rochester Fire Department is conducting an investigation after allegations of employee misconduct was filed by a firefighter.

News10NBC received this statement from the city:

“A complaint with allegations of employee misconduct was filed by a City firefighter. Immediately upon receiving the complaint, I notified the Department of Human Resource Management. The allegations are serious and we will get to the bottom of what happened and address the allegations swiftly and transparently in adherence with our legal guidelines and requirements. This is a personnel matter so we can’t comment any further while the investigation takes place."

City officials did not tell News10NBC what exactly those allegations are, but we will update you as soon as we know more.
