BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC) – The new Buffalo Bills stadium is set to open four years from now in 2026. But input from the community is still a driving force in making it as good as it can be.

The architecture firm that’s building the new stadium is still in the early stages of designing it, but there are still a few important pieces they did want to make changes to.

These included the orientation of the stadium, an easier walk from the parking lot to the gate, and making the stadium more intimate for fans and tough to play in for opponents.

"I know that our owner has said that he wants every team that comes to play in this stadium to say I hate going to Buffalo to play. And that’s what we’re trying to do from a design standpoint," said Populous Senior Principal, Scott Radecic.
