The country faces largest 12-month interest increase since 1981

WASHINGTON (WHEC) – The interest rates reach levels not seen in more than 40 years. The consumer price index has increased 9.1-percent in the last 12 months. The latest CPI report, released today by the bureau of labor statistics, shows prices have surged for energy, gas, food, rent, and dental care.
This is the largest 12-month increase since 1981.
