ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — We’ve been enjoying our pleasant and sunny weather, with plenty more on the way, but we need some rain.

Lawns are getting crispy, and gardens need watering! But we have little rain in sight. A moisture-starved cold front moving in on Friday will do little more than increase our clouds during the afternoon and evening. Other than a brief passing shower, we’ll stay dry. High pressure builds in this weekend, setting the stage for a lovely weekend!

Both Saturday and Sunday will feature abundant sunshine and comfortable air with daytime highs in the 70s and low humidity. We’ll start to warm things back into the 80s on Monday under a mostly sunny sky. Our next chance of rain doesn’t come until Tuesday and Wednesday as another weak cold front approaches, but showers will be hit and miss, and not everybody will get rain.
