First Alert Weather: Showers on the way for Tuesday with more humidity

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — There will be a few sprinkles on Tuesday with lots of clouds around town.

Showers will increase in coverage after 9 a.m. with a rumble of thunder possible. It won’t be a washout but be prepared for some rain as you are out and about.

Rain amounts will average around a quarter to a third of an inch and more where any thunderstorms develop. Along with the rain will come noticeably more humid weather as the dew point will rise to near 70 degrees later on Tuesday.

There will be lingering clouds and a few light showers into the early part of Wednesday and then clearing, cooler, and drier weather arrives for Wednesday afternoon. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the rain today and a look ahead to some nice weather next weekend.
