Republicans win seats in state supreme court justice election

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The final results for the race for two justice seats for New York State Supreme Court in the General Election are in. Republican Alex Renzi and Republican Joe Waldorf won the seats.

Renzi had a total of 123,264 votes, Waldorf had a total of 107,347 votes, and Democrat Margot Garant had 98,380 votes.

Renzi is from Pittsford and Waldorf from Webster but Margot Garant lives in Long Island. Read about how a Long Island resident got on a local ballot here. You can see more election results here.
