ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say a 17-year-old boy was shot on Lyell Avenue at around 8:30 p.m.
Officers say the teen was bleeding profusely. They helped control the bleeding until he could be taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
