Teen found dead in Murray Street home from apparent gunshot wound

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police are investigating after they found a boy in his early teens dead from an apparent gunshot wound in a home on the city’s west side Thursday night.
Officers were called to home on Murray Street near Jay Street around 7:30 p.m. for reports of a dead person inside. They found the teen with a gunshot wound in his upper body and the RPD Major Crimes Unit is still investigating the cause of the suspicious death.
