Man Attacked during attempted robbery on Otis Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A 27-year-old man was attacked during an attempted robbery on Otis Street on Wednesday night.
Rochester police responded around 10 p.m. and found the victim on Lyell Avenue suffering from multiple cuts to his body.
RPD said a suspect tried to rob the victim on Otis Street between Rogers Avenue and Warner Street. This led to a fight when the suspect tried to stab the victim multiple times before getting away.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he is expected to be okay. Police are still searching for the suspect and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
