ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Irondequoit bay Outlet Bridge closed to traffic on Monday morning, marking the start to boating season.
Every year on April 1, the bridge swings open to make room for boaters to access the bay. Cars can cross the bridge again in November. Crews swung the bridge open at 9 a.m.
