Embrace Your Sisters hold ‘Tea at Two’ fashion show

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – The Embrace Your Sisters "Tea at Two" fashion show fundraiser took place Sunday at Casa Larga Vineyards in Fairport.

This is the biggest annual fundraiser for Embrace Your Sisters. The nonprofit assists breast cancer patients with short-term emergency financial support in 13 counties across New York State.

"I’ve survived for 22 years and any way I can pay it forward or let anybody or everybody that is going through this or will go through this knowing that you’ve got a world of people who love and support you makes a whole world of difference. It really does," said Lisa Oyer, a breast cancer survivor.

The fashion show included models that are breast cancer survivors, who shared their journeys. The models walked the runway wearing outfits from Blue Door Boutique, Chandeliers Boutique, Chico’s, and Maurices. Make-up and hairstyling were provided by Salon Crystallia and Icon Salon and Spa on the Shore.

This was the first Embrace Your Sisters Tea At Two Fashion Show in-person event since 2020 due to COVID. The prior years resulted in a cancellation and a virtual event in 2021.
