ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Several community organizations in Rochester came together to hold their 11th Annual Community Health Fair Saturday. The event took place at the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester.
Community members were able to receive free health screenings, Covid vaccines, and speak to local providers.
This year’s fair had a special emphasis on child and adolescent mental health and how to bring affordable access to families in need.
“I feel like it’s good timing too because just recently a friend of mines memorial was yesterday so with how they’re spreading greater knowledge in regards to mental health. I’m going to be sure to let other people know that so that way they don’t feel as if they’re wrong for feeling it,” said a fairgoer.
Organizers say they were happy to see some of the best health care professionals all in one spot.
