Yellow Alert Weather: Strong to severe storms on Tuesday through 4 p.m.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — We’re tracking thunderstorms as they develop and move across the region on Tuesday afternoon.

A Yellow Alert is in place through 4 p.m. Some storms will become strong to severe with damaging winds, lightning, hail, and flash flooding being a concern with a small tornado threat as well.

Just like Monday, we will need to monitor the situation very closely as storms develop. At this time, the threat looks to be more to the east on Tuesday. The greatest chance for damaging weather will be in eastern Wayne County and the central and eastern Finger Lakes into central New York state.
