Powerball ticket worth $1 million sold in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A New York Lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold at the Speedway on West Ridge Road in the city. The ticket was sold on Saturday and was the second prize in the Powerball drawing.

There was also a nearly $35,000 lottery ticket sold at the Tops on Slayton Avenue in Spencerport. That ticket won a prize in the Take 5 Evening drawing.
