Man hit by car at Dewey and Driving Park dies

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man, 36, has died from his injuries after he was hit by a car Friday night.
Lafayama Chapman was walking near the intersection of Dewey and Driving Park avenues on around 11:15 p.m. when he was hit. He died on Saturday.
According to RPD, a Honda hit a Kia, which hit Chapman. The driver of the Honda fled the scene.
Police say the 29-year-old driver of the Kia stayed at the scene and was charged with DWI.
Police have found the Honda, and are asking anyone with information to call 911.
