HBCU Football Classic takes place Saturday featuring marching band battle
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The inaugural Frederick Douglass Historically Black Colleges and Universities Football Classic is taking place this Saturday.
Central State from Ohio will face off against Albany State from Georgia. After the game, there will be a battle of marching bands on the field hosted by News10NBC’s Lynette Adams.
It takes place at the Rochester Community Sports Complex, the former Sahlen Stadium, on Oak Street. The Rochester Police Department organized the event to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the community. Tickets are on sale here.
