MLB legend Pete Rose dies at 83

MLB legend Pete Rose has died at 83 years old, according to NBC News.

The baseball player spent the majority of his career with the Cincinnati Reds, but also played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Monreal Expos. He won three World Series titles and was nicknamed the “Hit King.”

Rose retired in 1986, but was famously banned by MLB after the league said he was gambling on the sport.
